About Aloe Vera

One of the most used medicinal plants worldwide, documented in Egyptian papyri from 1,500 BCE. Cleopatra allegedly used it in her beauty regimen. The gel contains over 75 active compounds including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and polysaccharides. Clinical studies confirm it accelerates burn healing by 9 days compared to conventional treatment. It is a succulent that stores water in thick fleshy leaves. It can survive without soil. The plant produces baby plants (pups) that can be separated and replanted. It has natural sunscreen properties (SPF 6-8). Over 500 species of Aloe exist. It is one of the most common houseplants worldwide.
